CLAIRE MANDEL (nee ZAMICK) 1926 - 2003 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Claire Zamick Mandel on July 24, surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness. Claire will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her husband Jack of 49 years; her devoted children, Dave, Martin (Linda), Lenny (Tatiana) and Neil (Sandy) grandchildren, Sari, Mallory, Carly, Macie, Max and Slavic, and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Shaveh and David Zamick, and a sister Rose Youssiem. Also left to mourn her passing are her siblings, Goldie Scher, Larry and Mona Zamick and a brother Sam Zenith. Claire was very active in the Jewish community of Hamilton. She was a great supporter of U.J.A. and Hadassah Wizo and many other charities. Claire was a pillar of strength for her family and leaves a beautiful legacy.
